Hello, I am trying to figure out if the AP Calculus BC course on Khan Academy is officially approved as an AP course by the College Board.

What do you mean by approved? KA is for practice, they do not give you any official certification when completing their courses. If you click into the BC Calculus module you can see how each section is corresponded to one parameter inside the BC Calculus curriculum imposed by the College Board.
