Teachers -- what do you think of the changes in Khan Academy Reimagined?
If you use Khan Academy (KA) as a teacher in a classroom, please comment in this thread with your feedback on Khan Academy Reimagined.
I'm just a KA user with no official role at KA, but I read every new Support Community post and look at all Recent Activity in the Support Community, so (if the interface is working correctly) I've read every post made here since before KA rolled out KA Reimagined at the end of June. I don't remember seeing a single comment in the Support Community that says a teacher likes anything about the change. I've seen several saying they dislike aspects of it, and several saying they really want the old interface back.
(Of course, it's possible that's not a representative sample, since people are much more likely to give negative feedback than positive.)
KA's blog article "Meet the New Khan Academy Classroom Experience" (May 7, 2026) about KA Reimagined says they listened to teachers and students. That left me with the impression that they tested KA Reimagined with teachers. However, I reread the article, and they never say that. Did KA allow teachers to test KA Reimagined and get feedback on whether it was helpful, or did KA staff read Support Community posts and guess at what teachers wanted?
If more teachers dislike the change than like it, maybe KA would roll back the change.
(If you're not a teacher and want to comment, I encourage you to start a separate post. I think this thread will be much more effective if it's all feedback from teachers.)
If you use KA as a classroom teacher and you care one way or the other, commenting below might make a difference. Thank you.
