AP Physics 1 seems incomplete

I was overviewing AP Physics 1 when I saw that a lot of lessons seem incomplete. The first two alone seem out of order, with the second lesson deriving and explaining the kinematics equation but the first one's practice problems use it. The lesson about vector fields later in the course has a video about visualizing vectors in 2d, which is the only video, but the problems ask about things that haven't been explained. These are just two examples I found. Seeing as there are no AP Physics C courses so this is the only resource for learning about this stuff, it seems very unfinished, and I guess I'm requesting more videos be added explaining more, and some content to be put in the right order. It honestly just seems like a lot of Khan Academy's physics is disorganized, with content in the wrong order and wrong places. I know beggars can't be choosers and I am thankful for everything that Khan Academy has given me, but I was wondering if this problem could be solved, as that would make the platform even better.

They got rid of a lot of lessons for reasons I don't really understand. The curriculum used to be complete before they changed it.

I agree. The current version has a lot of gaps.

Same here. The old AP Physics 1 course was put together very well, as the videos explained everything, in addition to worked through examples. Now, they give you friction problems without ever mentioning friction in any of the videos.

I filled out the feedback form for AP Physics 1 course, currently awaiting their response.

Getting back on topic to AP Physics, I actually had to quit the course because it was so bare bones! And I had never done this with a Khan Academy course in the past. I will check back in a few months to see if there's any improvement.

I think their feeling is that almost everyone taking this course has a "foundation" of also studying it in a school classroom (either onsite or virtual), instructor-led, where this additional information can be picked up. But I am an adult learner (I can't believe it, but I'm going to be 70 on my next birthday!), and I don't have a teacher I can appeal to for more guidance.

Yea same.

I was quite sad to figure out that the AP Physics 1 course curriculum changed at Khan Academy which does not align with the College Board material. Fortunately, the old curriculum of AP Physics 1 on Khan Academy still exists which you can find in the accompanying link: https://www.khanacademy.org/science/ap-physics-1

The old curriculum is indeed a lot more indepth, it also has a lot more exercises. I wish the AP physics 2 had a lot more exercises.
