Khan math assignments

Hello, I had posted a question in the tips and tricks, but it sounds like I should have posted it here instead.  In the past, when I assigned some skill practice(usually the 4 to 7 questions) students would completed it and know that they finished because it would show up that way in their class assignment list.  Ones that are not completed would have a blue start button.  I could easily see their scores as well.  However, this school year when I have made class assignments, after they finish the skill it then directions them to a tutorial or another skill automatically, and I believe the start button does not go away on their assignment page.  I didn't assign a lesson or a unit, just a practice skill.  This causes students confusion because they do not know if they are finished or not, although I can see their score.  I have had to tell them to just finish the questions and then close out, but days later they may forget and often time I give them 2 or 3 weeks to have them completed by.  Is there a way I can go back to the way it used to be?  Thanks.
