Bot Vote/Spam

I've seen them in at least 4 threads, it is incredibly annoying

Yeah, ikr.  First in sub threads, then in user programs, then spamming in comments.  I think all of the bots today were from the same person, tbh.  Annoying.

Of course. There's probably a main account that's directing a couple of thousand bots. They don't really go random. Maybe it's the one person that likes a program/comment and it gets lots of votes.

Our team is aware of the issue and we believe we have resolved the situation. Unfortunately it's not possible to completely eliminate this sort of behavior, but we have implemented new security measures that should greatly reduce the potential impact that bot accounts can have.

If you see any weird behavior that could be indicative of spam users, please flag the posts and report the users via a new support ticket so that we can investigate it. We take moderation very seriously, and creating accounts for the purposes of spamming other users is a violation of our Terms of Service and will lead to a permanent suspension from the site.

Additionally, please do not share or discuss specific users in our public forums. This is a violation of privacy and is not a very kind thing to do. In order to prevent further off-topic discussion, we've removed some of the comments from this thread and have closed it for further comments.
