Hi, I'm new comer. I have noticed that there are 3th grade math and get 3th grade math ready courses, what are differences between them? I am really confused.
And I wonder to know is there any schedule on a course like Get ready for 3rd grade? How much time a student is expected to take to finish the course?

My name is Carol and I'm from the Khan Academy Support Team!
We launched the Get Ready courses to support both teachers and learners as they begin new coursework at the beginning of the school year. These courses were designed to help students master the most important skills they’ll need for the next school grade. What’s more, students can use our new courses to figure out where they may have gaps before they enter that grade.
As a teacher, you can also use our Get Ready courses to complement grade-level instruction during back to school, including content dating back to approximately 1 to 3 years to help a student fill early gaps. For example, the Get Ready for 5th Grade course might include not only 4th Grade content, but 3rd Grade content as well.
This means that the Get Ready course focuses on identifying skills students will need to develop the most to succeed in the next grade while still mapping closely to the units you’d see in the regular math course for the next term.
If your students have already started working on a regular grade course, you might want to keep them working there to avoid confusion. That said, if you do notice that students are struggling, you could have them switch to the Get Ready course, which offers more scaffolds for students.

The 3rd grade course is going to be completed whenever you master the 2nd grade. It's a preparation course as it's name says. It covers the fundamental basics you need to start 3rd grade without previous problems (you know the snowball analogy to math). There's no timeline a student is expected to finish the course. The recommendation is to finish as soon as possible.
