Good idea! Yep, I think so too because Minekhan programs are always overvoted, and as of now there is a minekhan spinoff at 5th in the hotlist

Great idea, too bad it won't happen.  Minekhan keeps taking over the HL when the people who made these spin-offs are demonstrating skill at programming at all.

I disagree. Many of the spin-offs add functionality to MineKhan. I saw quite a few that added new blocks and features like health and new biomes.

I really agree with this idea.  Too many effortless spinoffs get too many votes.

I think that it would be better to have it this way (AquA's idea), since the spin-offs that add functionality can be themselves, and be viewed, but it's not the full effort.

SquishySquishy I know, I saw that too...in that case, the comment can be removed by the creator of the spin-off...there's credit in-program anyway. Also, what Magma said

I agree with Squishy. I have seen spin-offs of MineKhan that have added completely new features such as water and and mushrooms, flowers, grass, and new biomes, plus a working health bar where you take fall damage. 

Besides I don't see spinoffs of MineKhan getting onto the hot list *that* often.

I thought about this already, which is why I proposed this solution as compared to hiding all Minekhan spin-offs.

The thing that hides the program is not whether or not it's a spin-off, but whether or not it has a specific comment inside of it. So if someone made an update and spun it off, they could remove the comment. 

But most people who are just making builds for fun wouldn't think to remove this comment, so it wouldn't get on the HL.

I think that they get on the HL too much for no coding effort though... but even if they don't get on the HL often, when they do get there they get ridiculously overvoted.

Sorry for the late response here! Have you still been noticing a lot of these projects on the Hot List? If so, can you estimate how many of these projects are appearing on the first page of the HL within a given timeframe?

I haven't noticed very many of these projects getting flagged recently, so I'm just curious as to whether or not this is still a pressing issue.

Thanks for the additional info! That's about what I've heard from a few others as well. Since this isn't happening a ton anymore, we're not going to be implementing any engineering changes for this issue since it wouldn't have a very high impact.

That being said, if you notice any programs like this that are on the Hot List, you can still flag them under the "Does not belong" category so we can quickly remove them.

Came across this post from a Google search. I'm surprised anybody remembers Art Maker Pro! Also I had no idea KA had to apply a filter to hide the spin-offs of my program XD

Interestingly, the link you gave is an old version of my program. Turns out the new, updated version with adjustable brush thickness (from 6 years ago) was blocked: "Sorry, this page is not available." I can only view it when I'm signed in.

It feels strange visiting a place after several years' absence.
