add a new course

Hi Rachel,

If you haven't already created a class for your student, instructions for doing so can be found here, and instructions for adding students to a class can be found here.

When creating your class, you should have been prompted to add a course for the class. If you skipped this step or want to edit your choice, you can add a course using the blue button on the assignments tab:

Once you've chosen a course, it should appear on the assignments page and allow you to assign content. If you'd like to assign a course mastery goal instead, you can do that from the placement tab on the class page.

If you want to add a new course to your class, the easiest way is to go either progress or assign, click the dropdown and then scroll to the bottom and click edit courses.  I haven't found a limit on the number of courses that can be assigned (although grammar has a habit of disappearing from my 4th grader's list).
