Passwords for new students

I have three students who couldn't log in, so I created a new account different from my gooogle classroom. Now I can't find their names or  scores. I'm becoming fraustrated because the help section doesn't respond to my question.

Just to clarify, are you creating your students' accounts yourself, or are they creating their own accounts and then joining with a class code?

The only way for you to ever see the students' passwords is if you create the students' accounts yourself. If they create their own accounts, you will only see their usernames on your class roster.

wesley When you say "I created a new account", do you mean that you created a new account for yourself, or a new account for the student?

If the student is having issues logging in, the best solution is to reset their password for them. There are instructions for doing so here.
