Emails for work turned in late

I have a group of students who are turning in assignment late or going back and redoing the assignments after the due date to improve their grade.  I would like a feature where we get an automated email when an assignment is turned in after the due date.  The email would just need to say who turned in what assignment.  Right now I am going back through every couple of days to check all assignments and see who redid an assignment.  It is very time consuming.  I know emails like this are possible as I am getting them from other services my school uses.

I would like an option for emails just for late work, or emails every time an assignment is turned in.  I know it could be a lot of emails but to have the information would be worth it for me.
