Math videos in spanish

1. Selecting preferred language.  If you have student that have not set this to Spanish, you can edit a student profile to set their preferred language.

2. You can always preview the videos, exercises and quizzes before assigning them. From you Teacher Dashboard, in the Tools sidebar on the left, select Assign, in the mid screen, select the unit to see an expanded view of the content.  Select a lesson, video or quiz to preview.  Alternatively,  select Courses in the upper left, select the content you wish to preview.  When providing differentiated assignments, it is always best to preview what you intend to assign to be sure it is at the appropriate level.  If you don't want to or don't have time to watch the videos, you can click on "Transcript" to read what is presented.

3.  If you have your class set up in Google Classroom, you can easily assign work to the Classroom platform, by clicking on the link in the lesson or directly under the video.  You would then edit the assignment in G-C for students and due date.

3.  I have recently discovered through using the "Learner Home" under your account name (upper right corner) a way to move more rapidly through a particular "unit" level.  Assign a Unit Test at least 1 or more grade levels below the student level.  Example, I have 3rd graders, so I might assign a Unit Test at the 1 or 2nd grade level.   Student have a chance to reach mastery much faster this way, rather than watching each video and completing each exercise and quiz in order.  They will move past content they have mastered, and gaps in content knowledge are more easily identified at the student level.   At this point, you can assign lessons to fill those knowledge gaps.
