Using Assignments to Make a Custom Course?

when I first set up my rti class I assigned the students lessons but now I want to see their scores and nothing shows up in my assignment list. The students are working, I can see some information about their work but I cannot see any scores

I'm in Australia and also need to "roll my own" sequence of learning for my students. A custom mission would be ideal but clearly isn't about to happen.

Up until about now, I've been using the following construct to do custom courses for my students:

• List skills (in order) with links to the relevant quiz (I don't use the videos but the same would work there.
• Students follow the links in an order of their choosing (while logged onto Khan Academy) to practice and test themselves.
• To see mastery progress, I download the .csv file under progress (old) -> by skill with World of Math selected. I then run this through a spreadsheet I wrote to generate a grid showing students in rows and skill mastery level in columns

This model is being rapidly broken by more and more of the quizzes not being included in World of Math. There appears to be no other way for me to see (let alone download) data for student progress that isn't through the assignments mechanism.

I have friends who teach coding courses in meetups and I have been doing some research into how I can help them structure their classes better. I came across Khan Academy and thought it would be a great solution until I realised that you cannot create a custom course. Have you guys come up with any solutions?
Chris, it seems as though your solution may not be sustainable.

I was considering writing an open source app to solve this problem, I just need to decide if I want to create a new solution or use Khan academy's API to stitch together a compromise.

I'd like to know if anyone what your requirements are so that I could develop a more useful solution :)

Make your own, it appears they have no interest in letting us customize courses. Real shame, almost makes them useless.

This model is as a rule quickly broken by increasingly more of the tests not being remembered for World of Math. There seems, by all accounts, to be no alternate path for me to see (not to mention download) information for understudy progress that isn't through the tasks component.
