Feedback: practice questions repeat a lot
This is probably not something you can do much about, but I noticed the practice questions seem to repeat a lot rather than offering new question examples for the skill areas.

I agree with this. After having completed a set of parallel flaw questions, I clicked on "try similar questions" and the "new" set of questions was exactly the same as the one I had already done, except for one question.
Also agreed. Through practice, I've come to learn that I suck at Assumptions, and have now completely cycled through all the Advanced assumption questions... so it looks like I've gotten better, when in reality I've just memorized the questions' answers...
I agree. memorization of past questions. Happens throughout in all sections.
Agreed. I understand that there will likely be some repetition, but I've gotten the same passage within an hour!
Agreed! I've done certain question sets 3 or 4 times. More variety should be incorporated. It feels like a waste of time to complete these repeat questions, but it has to be done in order to get a new set of questions.
I have started skipping around on the tasks under my practice plan and have had better success with less repeats - and also passed the section faster (early) for some reason.
Thank you for the feedback guys!
We’d love to add more content! We’ll continue to work with LSAC over time to add more so you see fewer repeat questions. In the meantime, you can try to select questions of different difficulty levels if you’re seeing repeats!
Repetition can increase learning and it also allows opportunity to review questions missed.
@Poetrypoem86: Yes, it can be beneficial in that aspect, however, many of us don’t process repeated questions (whether it be at a subconcious level or not) in a drastically different manner; one which takes away from attaining a valuable learning experience. For me, sometimes it’s difficult to objectively approach repeated questions.
@samkhan829 exactly, same for me.
@Poetrypoem86 repetition increases memorization.
Yes, it does increase memorization and thank you for your confirmation. By the way, I am learning different ways of taking notes. Even though I prefer to use flash cards, there are many ways to learn and remember things.
It all depends on which method works for you as we all have different learning styles.
Very true, and I would argue that memorization is not always the same as learning.
