Some early math suggestions
Hi, I'm a homeschooling mother of five (yes, I know) and we cannot afford to buy curriculum, so we love your site...I was originally creating my own curriculum from scratch. I was using the IXL website as a base for creating outlines when I came across your site last week. I fell in love immediately but couldn't help but notice some things are missing from your site that are on most curriculums... Just wondering if they will be added eventually:
1. Number words
2. Tally marks
3. Roman numerals
4. Ordinal numbers
5. Skip counting by twos and sequencing up and down (forwards and back) by 1, 2 and 3 (5 and 10 are on ur site) and counting patterns
6. Ordering numbers from greatest to pay
7. Reading a calendar
8. Recognizing and identifying all two dimensional shapes
9. ab, abb, aab, abc and growing patterns
10. Teaching what cardinal and whole numbers mean
11. Counting on number lines, before after and in between 10 and 1 more or less on hundred chart
That's all I can think of for now but I'm pretty sure there's more. Some things that were missing I noticed will be coming soon. Also I'm wondering why the order of some things is different, like odd and even numbers taught later, not in grade one? Anyways, just wondering if these things will be added?
Thank u!
