Hi, my name is Soffy Ford and I'm Canadian. My husband and I have decided to homeschool our children and I came across this site and was really excited. However, I have some questions:

1. Can this site be totally replaced by ANY curriculum for math? Do I need to do any lessons with the child myself, or will this site be replacement for that? For example, I noticed that in Early Math there isn't a learning numbers section...does this mean I will have to teach my child numbers first before using the site? Or can I just teach as we go?

2. Will there be a learning to read and full Language Arts program added?

I think it's better to use the website as a supporting tool then as a main tool for teaching. use it for explaining things or exercises and use other tools as a base specially for kids in early ages.

and yes you need to teach them numbers first.

P.s: you are taking big step by homeschooling your kids I really admire that,I hop they have fun and learn the right way.

Thanks, yes I've come to the conclusion to use Khan as a supporting tool, and that works out better.
And thank you, it is a big step, but so worth it!!!
