Wanting to know if certain word problems are based on real word situations.

I saw something in one of the Statistics practices that I think may have come from a real world situation. It was comparing the size of the football players at the University of Alabama with those at the University of Mount Union. Alabama is a football powerhouse at the highest level of U.S. college football (schools with large enrollments from which to field a team). They won the most recent national championship at that level and have won several others in their history. I first heard of the University of Mount Union, which is in eastern Ohio here in the U.S., just a short time before I did that exercise, when a young relative who is a college senior got me interested in the football championship playoffs involving schools in a lower level of U.S. college football called Division 3 (schools with smaller enrollments and thus fewer available students for a team). Mount Union has won the national Division 3 championship many times over the years, too, including this year.

I'm guessing that the year in which this Statistics problem was written, both Alabama and Mount Union both won their respective national championships. At the time that I saw this question, the 2017 national champions had not yet been determined.
