I have taken several courses with KA, but some time has passed. Not long ago I received an email telling me that I had better sign in within two days or my identity at KA would be deleted. I signed in and also made a donation. Now, just a few weeks later, today comes the deletion threat again, supposedly for "security reasons".

Please don't do this to those who value KA, speak highly of your site and have contributed over the years. Surely Kal isn't the one who thought up these threatening emails.

We delete accounts that have been completely inactive for 2 years, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can find more information about our account deletion practices here. You can find our full data retention policies here.

If you were successfully able to sign into your account, then it should no longer be scheduled for deletion. However, I encourage you to submit a support ticket so that we can confirm this. Sometimes users have multiple accounts with different emails, so it's possible that the account you received the email for is not the account that you signed into.
