Add an "Add a friend" feature

Not someone from khan but I'd like to respond nonetheless:

A) This should probably be posted in Feature requests and General site feedback.

B) As for why AI was added first - it's a bit more complicated. For example, the feature could've just been rejected or forgotten. For the sake of this post, let's assume this wasn't the case:

The only other possible explanation is then that it's stuck somewhere in a backlog, waiting to be added. The problem with this is that khan is a non-profit organization (not a megacorporation with bazillions of dollars and infinite manpower) and is already stretched a bit thin resource wise. The fact they're a non-profit is also an additional reason as to why AI was likely added first: to get money (donations), they must show good faith and have a good track record. As AI is really hot right now, adding it would generate a lot of buzz and make donators happy (ie. willing to donate more so khan can continue to expand, not sure if this actually happened with khanmigo but I can only assume). They may have also thought that AI (or other features that others have suggested) had a larger priority as it could help more people.

Whatever the case, the most you can hope for at this point is a response from someone from khan. I'll upvote your post so you'll hopefully have a better chance of getting an answer.

I agree with you 100% Sona, but did you know that AI is ment to spy on people? It's a tool used by some people so that they can constantly spy on the user. I don't really want to argue with you, but, still, I wonder why they added AI features. Is it to spy on people (not saying that they are), or is it, like you said, to get money? And I'll switch this to Feature requests and General site feedback right now. 

Please add a friend feature. It would be both fun and beneficial to kids like me who's homeschooled.

I know, right? I'm homeschooled too, but I also don't have that many friends. That's why I requested this. I actually look forward Khan's response!

I'm not homeschooled, but I would like to find other learners like me who I can connect with and learn with together. I also want to connect to my brother to see his stats :)

Well, that's a matter of opinion. (But you do make a good point. But I think you're putting it so some people other than hackers use AI to spy on people.) Personally, I think AI is a good tool for us, but I don't want to argue with anyone. Besides, this is a space for sharing information, not opinions.
