Is Khan Academy a good tool for self-study?

My sister (5) and I (16) both use Khan Academy to teach ourselves. She takes the first grade math course and 2nd grade reading, and I take Algebra 2, 10th grade vocab, High school physics, and soon Pre-calculus and AP Physics 1. I wonder if Khan Academy is equivalent to in-school learning and if I could possibly skip a grade since I will already know the information. I also wonder if I need to add a math workbook to my learning if Khan Academy isn't enough.

I’d like to clarify that Khan Academy is primarily an online learning resource. All our content, videos, and exercises were developed with supplementary activities in mind and we hope our platform can serve as a trusted resource to help our learners advance in their journey towards mastery of any subject we have available for them.

So, while we provide learning resources that are aligned with many school needs, we are not a school, and there is no official enrollment for students online. We are not an accredited institution and do not provide certificates, transcripts, grades, or enrollment records.
