Need a separate account for my students and me as a teacher

I am a homeschool teacher and a parent.  I have set up a class for my son.  I have also set up a class for me as a student, but when I go in there I see my son's progress and I am concerned if I look at the future lessons and complete them it will show that he completed them.  The only solution I have come up with is to create a totally separate account with a different email address in Khan Academy to keep us separate, but I would really like to avoid that if possible.  How can I work on the same classes as he does without our stuff crossing?  I know you can have multiple students/classes, but they seem all to be together on my teacher dashboard.
