Content Update: Introducing Climate Project!

We are excited to announce a brand new course: Climate Project!

Climate Project is a solutions-based course, which helps you see the many ways we CAN solve climate change. For instance, you’ll evaluate adaptation and mitigation solutions to decide for yourself how to take on the challenges climate change presents. 

You’ll learn the knowledge and skills needed to take real action to make a difference solving the climate crisis. For example, you’ll explore climate-related careers to see the ways your own skills and interests can contribute to a zero-carbon future.

You deserve the change to interrogate information—free of fear and bias—to understand how to reduce impacts, build resilience, and envision your own role in shaping our future. In Climate Project, you’ll evaluate information from diverse sources to engage in constructive discussion and move past pessimism and inaction.

For teachers:

Climate Project is an inquiry-based course that encourages students to explore for themselves the causes, impacts, and potential solutions to climate change. To support this investigation, activities are designed to have students research and evaluate information and data from diverse sources to decide for themselves what to believe. 

All videos, articles, infographics, and activities are designed to help build the data- and digital-literacy skills needed to support the next generation of experts, leaders, workers, and citizens. For example, data exploration activities equip students with the tools needed to assess the complex and constantly changing information surrounding climate change.

Climate Project materials offer timely, clear-eyed takes on the most pressing issues facing your students to promote engagement and action. Course infographics, for example, offer an approachable, fun way to help students connect to and make sense of complex topics.
