Pre-algebra or Getting Ready for Algebra 1?

The Get ready for Algebra 1 course is designed to review the most important pre-requisite skills for the Algebra 1 course, and also relates these skills to how they will be used in the Algebra 1 course. This is a great option to help students master the most important skills they’ll need for the next grade. The length of this course is designed to be completed over a shorter time period, such as summer break or at back-to-school time to complement on-grade-level learning.

The Pre-algebra course is a more comprehensive course that has more than twice as many mastery skills as the Get Ready course. It covers most all of the skills in the Get Ready course, plus some additional skills and it starts to introduce more Algebra 1 concepts. This is a good option if you are not on a short time-constraint for completing the course.
