I am the Elementary Math TOSA for my school district. I help teachers find supplemental curriculum for their students, and I was very excited to see that teachers can create and manage their class on Khan Academy. One of the teachers recently created her own teacher account then had her 3rd graders log in using their iPads to the Khan Academy website using their school "email" which is linked to Google+.
Since they are only 3rd graders, it asks them to provide their parents' email so that they could get permission, so the teacher, acting as their guardian, had the students input her email address. Now, she has 24 emails from Khan Academy requesting input of information like first & last name, DOB, etc, and there is no way for her to know which email request is tied to which student.
Is there an easier way for a classroom teacher to get her class set up on Khan Academy? We are very excited to be able to use your resources to help enrich and intervene, but the set-up process is making some of our teachers frustrated.
Please let us know what we can do to make this easy for both our teachers and our students.
Thanks in advance!
