When learning about topics, it'd be so helpful to have visual proofs in some topics. And the "why's" as to why something is the way it is, better explained.

In Grade 8, Unit 1. For "The 0 & 1st Power" Lesson, it'd be helpful to also relate why it is the case that Numbers to the power of 0, equals to 1. Like the video "Why do numbers to the power of 0 equal 1?" explains how mathematicians of old had to try finding it in reverse. Like If 2^3 = 8 and 2^4 = 16, how do you get from 2^4 to 2^3? You would divide by 2 like so, "(2^4)/2 = 2*2*2*2 / 2 = 2^3"

Dividing by 2, cancels out the last 2 that you multiplied. So you would go on to ->

(2^3)/2 = 2^2 = 2*2*2 / 2 = 4

(2^2)/2 = 2^1 = 2*2 / 2 = 2

(2^1)/2 = 2^0 = 2 / 2 = 1

2^0 = 1.

Both of your posts are great, and I definitely agree on the value of going further and deeper into asking why things are the way they are to really understand what they are.
