Need guidance on Calculus courses for Machine Learning

Depending on your current level of skill, you may want to start with Precalculus.  If you find that you already know that material, feel free to skip it.

The College Board, the organization which develops and administers the AP exams, doesn't state this outright, but, generally, depending on the college, the AB exam covers the first semester of college Calculus (Calculus I) and the BC exam covers the first two semesters of college Calculus (Calculus I and Calculus II).

If you look at the outline on KA, you will see that the first five units covered in Calculus BC are identical to the first five units covered in Calculus AB.  Calculus BC includes additional material in units 6 - 8 and has two additional units that are not included in Calculus AB.  This is also the material covered in Differential Calculus and Integral Calculus.

Differential equations are covered in Calculus BC.  However, the Differential Equations course covers them in more depth.  I can't say how much of this is needed for Machine Learning, but Differential Equations is not that long a course and it couldn't hurt to learn more.

I think that Precalculus (if you need it), AP Calculus BC, Differential Equations, and Multivariable Calculus would be a good track to follow.
