Assignment Order
I would like to request a feature that allows a teacher to manage the assignment order that the students see within their assignment hub. Currently, students are shown current/ recent assignments first, and would have to click the "past" button repeatedly to go back to any incomplete assignments in order to do those first. I would love if Khan allowed teachers to manage this order of assignments so students could view older incompleted assignments first and foremost. This would be VERY helpful for the list to curate/ begin with any incompleted lessons before moving on to the harder, more difficult concepts that are assigned by the teacher later. For some of my struggling students, who do not complete work as quickly as other students, they have a double whammy because they have to go hunt and search for their lessons. This causes extra work for them to get to their assignments because they must continue clicking the "past" button (sometimes multiple times) before they get to their lessons. This is cumbersome and not an efficient use of their time, especially when those students struggle already with time management and lower skills. It can also be disheartening for them to bypass and "see" all of the missed lessons that they are behind on before they get all the way back to where they need to start. It can be unmotivating as they think they will never get to where the rest of the class is currently working. I really would love to be able to control that set-up and allow older lessons to populate FIRST. Any help on this topic would be very welcomed! I love using Khan for many reasons and think this would be a small way to help all students feel more successful. In additon, perhaps a feature to expand on this would also permit teachers to control how many lessons are shown in students' hubs at a time as well, so it feels like a goal to complete the lessons shown each day or each week, rather than a long list of missed or late assignments. I hope this makes sense and that you see value for teachers to be able to have more control over their students' assignments.
