Issue with Student Assignments being Marked Complete - JavaScript

I have recently started using the JavaScript course for my intro to engineering students. However, I am experiencing some issues with the gradebook, namely it is not marking their assignments as complete when they clearly are finished. I can look at the student account on his/her computer and see where the blue checkmark indicates that the assignment is complete and where the blue progress bar shows the assignment is complete, but, from the dashboard and from the teacher gradebook, it appears that the assignment is not complete. Is there something we're missing?
