Constitution 101 course ideas
Hi Khan Academy! I've heard y'all will soon launch the Constitution 101 course, above and beyond US Government and Civics. The press release says the videos will feature interviews, but I'd strongly suggest first making use of the existing playlist of videos.
There's a set of fantastic explainers in the Constitution 101 curriculum, and those fit PERFECTLY with the Khan Academy mastery-based course structure.
These videos are embedded in the curriculum on the Constitution Center website, and are on this YouTube playlist too. That said, I do think the bite-sized interview format is working really well for courses like Internet Safety, so I think the existing explainers + new interviews will ease your task.
Finally, you can leverage the interactive Constitution with bite-sized KA articles that link to the Center's page. You could ask learners to read the relevant parts of the Constitution, then come back to think about discussion or reflection questions on the KA article. This is very much like the World History Project structure.
