Ever since Pamela left, there haven't really been any contestsfor JavaScript. Could Khan Academy please add a Guardian or somehow let the coommunity handle contests? I know I and many others would love to have this fun opportunity to compete with other users to try to get a Golden Winston.

I totally agree, it's just the Computing section is no longer looked after by the Computing Lead (AKA Pamela)... so little is going to happen for a while. That's why I hope to take on her torch someday and start where she left off. Many things would be improved: new contests would be held, new badges, new courses, a whole lot would be better. ;)
To close, I hope your post gets lots of attention Legolas, I'm always in support of ideas like these. =)
I support this wholeheartedly, however, as of right now I don't believe KA has hired any full-time staff - staff that are required if contests are to be made again. I don't think KA has shown any signs of hiring right now, either. I'm not a staff member, though, so my opinion doesn't matter as much as one of theirs.

Contests, or, Khantests are one of my favorite things to do on KA! Or at least they were. User-made contests are just not the same. I've always wanted a Golden Winston! xD
JavaScript Contests are also great ways to learn coding. We should even bring back the Summer of Scripting! :)
I also support bringing back contests! Contests are a fun way to learn and build JS skills and I am sure the Khan users would benefit greatly from them. I have never gotten to compete in them, but I have entered a few contests created by users and had a lot of fun and learned quite a bit from it.

I voted your idea up I definitely agree and hope this will be continued unfortunately I joined at a time when Pamela wasn't present now just to reassure everyone without going into many details Pamela is doing really well and is happy in fact she has major role now and is making quite a difference in the lives of others she is continuously inspiring and making a difference wherever she goes😉.
And Jett that is definitely a wonderful dream and goal I think others would benefit from your lessons being taught.
