How can I start translating for Khan Academy?

First, apply through the application form on Wufoo. Once you have been accepted onto the team, you can begin. To get started, go to the Translation Portal and select the language you will translate into. Once you have selected a language, the Translation Dashboard will show you the most important content to translate right on top.

Note: the first time you log into the Translation Portal, you may be asked to sign up on Crowdin, the online translation platform that we use. 

On the left of the page, you can choose to create subtitles for videos, to dub/recreate videos, or to translate strings (exercises, articles, and platform). See an overview of how to do each of them in the image below.
